First Federal Credit Union Announces New Branch Opening In Marion
Cedar Rapids, IA - First Federal Credit Union has announced the opening of its latest branch in Marion. The new location is on the roundabout corner of 7th Avenue and 26th Street.
“We’re very pleased to announce the opening of our latest office”, said Tom Chalstrom, President & CEO of First Federal Credit Union. “We look forward to being part of the Marion community. This is an ideal location for our members and is part of First Federal’s continued commitment and approach to providing outstanding service and convenience to our members where, when, and how they use our products and services.”
According to Chalstrom, the office has been completed but the opening delayed due to the COVID-19 emergency declaration. “All of our Linn County locations will be open on Friday, May 29th. Each office will be equipped to safely provide services to our members using prescribed health guidelines,” he stated.
“Opening a branch in Marion has been in our plans for several years and we appreciate the opportunity to work with Hannah Kustes, Genesis Equities, Abode Construction and our general contractor Graham Construction in accomplishing this goal,” Chalstrom remarked.
Chairman of the Board Mike Pickering added, “Throughout our 94-year history we have continually looked toward the future. The addition of a new location for our members fits into our strategic objectives for providing our best-in-class products and services to residents across Linn County.”
