Dupaco Foundation Awards $40,000 in College Scholarship Money

DUBUQUE, Iowa—The Dupaco R.W. Hoefer Foundation College Scholarship Program awarded a total of 20 non-renewable, $2,000 college scholarships to first-time, full-time students planning to attend an accredited community college, trade school, technical college or university. 

The scholarships are funded by (member contributions to) the Dupaco R.W. Hoefer Foundation. Dupaco expanded its scholarship program this year and in addition to awarding ten $2,000 scholarships to full-time, incoming freshmen who will be attending an accredited four-year college or university and also awarded ten $2,000 scholarships to incoming students planning to attend an accredited community college, trade school or technical college for a degree or certificate.

Scholarship applications were judged on scholastic standing, extracurricular activities, financial need and a creative piece.
