Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union, a $440 million credit union in Abilene, Texas, is currently in search of a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will join an experienced senior management team in leading the credit union forward. This individual will be responsible for strategically leading the finance and accounting operations including asset liability management, investments, budgeting, financial reporting, and general accounting. Also, this individual will be looked upon to coach and mentor staff, create efficiencies, and evaluate existing accounting processes. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills and will be comfortable in dealing with the credit union’s members, board of directors, and in building professional relationships with examiners. A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or economics is required along with five plus years of experience managing accounting and finance functions within a credit union.
