Affinity Credit Union Launches Building Better Holidays Charitable Campaign

December 7, 2020 (Des Moines, IA) – Affinity Credit Union announces the return of its annual Building Better Holidays campaign, a year-end blitz of 12 days of giving, presenting a total of $24,000 in donations to 12 deserving local charities.
Beginning in 2018, Affinity Credit Union employees selected 12 different local organizations and paid each a visit over a 12-day period. The goal was to help increase the awareness of these organizations by streaming these visits via Facebook Live. At the conclusion of each interview, Affinity presented a donation to each organization.
Since its inception, Affinity has donated $55,000 to local charitable organizations solely through the Building Better Holidays campaign.
Starting December 8th, tune into Hello Iowa at 11:00 A.M. on WHO-TV Channel 13 as the Building Better Holidays 2020 campaign is launched. Each weekday through Christmas Eve, a different local organization serving those in need in our community will be featured, while Affinity will donate a total of $24,000 to these organizations throughout the 12-day campaign.
