Citizens Community Credit Union’s Dan Scott Named One of Fort Dodge Region Top 10 Under 40

FORT DODGE, Iowa – Citizens Community Credit Union is excited to announce that Dan Scott, Vice President, has been named one of the 2019 Fort Dodge Region Top 10 Under 40.

Each year, the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance, Fort Dodge Young Professionals, and The Messenger all work together to recognize the top ten professionals under forty that stand out in the community. Scott and the other honorees were nominated by an individual in the community and then selected based on career excellence and community involvement.

Dan Scott, a native of Fort Dodge, has been with Citizens Community Credit Union since 2007 and currently serves as Vice President. While recently undergoing a period of leadership transition, Scott temporarily held the role of Interim CEO of Citizens while maintaining customer service, employee morale and credit union growth.

Scott is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Management and the CUNA Management School at the University of Wisconsin. He has earned the designation of Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE).

In addition, Dan serves on the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance Board and volunteers for a number of organizations in the community, including the Joy of Reading, Market on Central, Operation Christmas and Meals on Wheels.
