Serve Credit Union partners with the Des Moines Police Burial Association to Award Scholarships
For several years, Serve Credit Union has facilitated and co-funded the awarding of five, $1,000 scholarship with the help of Des Moines Police Burial Association. This year's essay question was, "How will the raise of taxes on Iowa Credit Unions affect you and your family?" which did require some extra thought than questions in the past!
We were blown away by five of our many applicants, and with the help of several ICUL network judges, we were able to award to the following:
Kaitlyn Galetich: Daughter of a Polk County Deputy. She is attending Iowa State in the fall for her junior year. "My future career plans include getting a paid internship this summer in a marketing position, preferably in the sports industry. My long term future career plans include getting a job in the marketing industry that pays well enough to support myself and my family."
