Community 1st Credit Union Promotes Mark Franke to Chief Operating Officer

OTTUMWA, IA – Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Franke to Chief Operating Officer.

Franke brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Chief Operating Officer position. Mark has been in the banking/finance industry for over 18 years, starting as a Personal Banker on the retail side and then advancing to Branch Manager and Investment Banker.  He then moved to the Commercial and Ag. Department as a Relationship Manager/Vice President, and was subsequently promoted to Market President, a role in which he served for 7 years.  Mark joined Community 1st in 2016 as Vice President of Real Estate Lending.

His community involvement includes serving on boards for the Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation, Jr. Achievement, Hy-Noon Kiwanis Club, Indian Hills Foundation, and Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress. 

He and his wife Molly have three, young children.
