Member Service Representative:
This position will deliver an exceptional member experience by serving as a trusted financial partner to our members and their families. The position provides account information by phone and in person on a full range of credit union products and services. The successful candidate will deliver professional, knowledgeable and exceptional member service through all delivery channels.
This position is responsible for the safe and accurate handling of member deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments and other product and service transactions. This position takes care in delivering an exceptional member experience every time by assisting members promptly, accurately and efficiently whether in person, on-line, or on the phone. In addition, this position will be responsible for opening new membership accounts and the day to day management of our credit and debit card portfolio including handling fraud cases, compromised cards, ordering/closing cards and maintaining up to date system data to ensure accuracy.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong math and logic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solver -ability to resolve and assist member complaints as they occur
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
