How to Contribute
Donations to the Foundation support grants and scholarships that improve the lives of those involved in the credit union movement. The Foundation can only fulfill its mission because of the generous support of credit unions and individuals. You or your credit union can make Foundation donations payable to:

Community Investment Fund
The Community Investment Fund (CIF) funds national and state level development initiatives and is a stable source of funding for the Foundation’s grant making and endowment growth. Participating credit unions invest in a special account at the Iowa Corporate Central Credit Union.
The National Credit Union Foundation splits its dividends with the state foundations or league based on a pro rata share. The remaining dividend earned on the account is paid to participating credit unions. Funds distributed from the CIF can be used for: international partnerships; education of credit union and league employees and volunteers; public education initiatives related to credit unions; projects and programs that support new, small or community development credit unions; and/or programs or projects that extend credit union services to the "unserved" or underserved.
